How do I know that the meat from McDonald’s suppliers is safe?

McDonald’s South Africa (SA) use only approved suppliers within its supply chain. This means that all suppliers are expected to undergo external, third party food safety audits — this includes Finlar Fine Foods, our meat processor. They are a federally registered and inspected facility. In addition, both knowledgeable McDonald’s Quality Assurance staff and third party auditors inspect Finlar’s facilities annually to ensure their compliance with McDonald’s food safety standards and testing protocols.
