McDonald’s South Africa (SA) have strict specifications for our French fries and our suppliers uphold these standards to ensure consistent quality. Our quality requirements cover everything from the raw potatoes to the finished product. Our standards define length, thickness and colour, as well as sensory standards such as crispness, internal texture and flavour. Our suppliers’ end products are also monitored daily in our restaurants to ensure quality. If our French fries aren’t “just right”, we do not serve them.
